I’ve been editing commercials since 1999. I started in San Francisco, at the peak of the DotCom Boom v1.0. Since then I’ve worked for some of the best edit boutiques in the business (about half of which still exist) — Mad River Post, FilmCore, Whitehouse, No6, Spot Welders, Cartel, and Arcade — with periodic extended forays into freelance.
Based out of Los Angeles since 2003, I’ve cut for some of the biggest/most highly regarded/most notorious ad agencies, directors, and clients in the industry, with plenty of Super Bowl spots and amusing anecdotes to show for it.
As of March 2024, I’m available as a freelancer again. I have a fully equipped studio in LA with remote capabilities and All the Hottest Editing Software, I can arrange a great four-wall pretty much anywhere in the US (and probably pretty much anywhere else), I can work in-house, I can work hybrid, I can work on-set, I can travel, I make a fantastic rolled French omelette, and I promise that I now wear shoes 95% of the time during my in-person editing sessions (IYKYK).
